just gopt the 210 in the wall and filled with water. the tank is a aga reef ready tank. how far up in the overflows should the water go. the return pump that i chose was a magdrive 3600. with it at full blast the way i have the plumbing it goes all the way up to where the drain bends. i know this is hard to picture, it is about half an inch from where the water enters throught he teeth. sorry for the ignorance but i have never had a r/r tank before.

the water level should be roughly half way on the tee on the downpipe.. it's completely up to u how low or high the water is in the ovwrflow. the higher it is, the less noise will be made from splashing, from water falling down the back of the weir.
Just adjust to how u want it.

thanks leetdood! i was hoping to get a reply ...... i have let it run for 48 hours so far and no leakage so i figured it would be ok. thanks a bunch again

i've not heard of any benefits from the durso being higher or lower..
But from experience, the shorter the durso standpipe, the less air noise i got, from air rushing in the holes, so i suppose a little less flow of water downwards too?!..

I like to carry my dursos within 3-5 inches of the bottom of the teeth. The space thats left is dead space so why not increase your overall total water volume.
