How fast do corals grow when....

I am considering buying frags and letting them grow. I understand that some corals grow fast, but what does that mean. If conditions are optimal how quickly can say something like green star polyps 1" in diamter grow to 4"?

Same question but for acropora?

the GSPs can do that in a 4-6 weeks, the Acro is dependent on which one it is.

It all depends on the coral. I have some LPS of the same species that grow super fast and some super slow. I guess it's how they like your system. Once they settle in and start to grow then it really takes off.
