How Fast Do Favia Grow?

I found a beautiful favia frag for a couple of dollars and i want it to basically fill in an area in my tank. how fast will a favia grow. i believe it is a raptors favia, but i am not quite sure. thanks

For me Favia has been the fastest grower. Mine grew about 3/4 of in. outward in less than 3 weeks.

What kind of lights do you run? Anything else that you do to see this type of growth?

It might be a dragon soul favia . The growth speed varies in favia and some grow fast and some grow really slow. The more you feed , the faster they will grow.

I bought a Favia that was the same diameter as the frag plug it was on. In 2 months it is now overgrowing the plug to the point where you can't see the plug anymore. Now if I could just get it to color up. It's still a little bleached looking but it is growing and puffed up.

if fed fast.they look bad for the first week then just gro gro grow.watch out for the sweepers very powerfull sting

If you have good water quality and keep them somewhat shaded, most of the highly colored Favias will grow extremely fast compared to most other LPS corals, but in my experience, the Prism type Favias tend to be slightly slower growing than other Favias.
