How high can a wrasse jump out of a tank?

From the water line to my tank's edge is a good 4 inches. Can any wrasse jump out of my tank? Currently I have a green and yellow coris wrasse in a 90 G rimless

I would still be careful about the wrasse jumping out....how long have the wrasses you have in your tank been in there for? If they've been in for awhile I doubt they'll jump out anytime soon.

I had to remove the screen on my tank to retrieve something out of the tank and it spooked my Lineatus that I had for over 1 year. It jumped about 2ft out of the tank, landed on hardwood floor and dead within a min. :(

My yellow coris landed about 7 feet from my tank past a euro brace while working on the tank. Luckily he landed on a towel and is still around.

Im picking up a couple of wrasses next week and am worried about the jumping. Any ideas on what I can do to stop them from jumping as I have no covers?

Same thing happened to me and a McCosker's. Definitely a terrible thing to happen (especially with a Lineatus).

Cover your tank, otherwise there's a good chance with a wrasse they'll jump at some time or another.

wrasses can jump a couple feet... you'd be surprised.. i got hit in the face with an aussie tusk (2 feet above the tank)... not fun. lol
