How high to go?

How high do you build your rock work? At present mine tops off at around the middle of the tank. I am probably going to add a little bit more to one end. Just wondering what other people do with theirs?

Depends on what you want to keep. For sps about half way up is good because you want to leave room for them to grow. Lps you could go a little higher since they won't grow as tall as fast but really it's just your preference. My rock work is mostly below the half way point on my tank but I have a few rocks that create a peak on the right side that's about two thirds the way up

Yup, half to 2/3 up the tank, depending on livestock goals. Aquascape for what you want in a year, not what you want tomorrow.
