it is used for 150- it is 6ft tall (maybe too tall)

Unless you have room outside it's too tall. Beside you really can't see that inside of the skimmer, right ? this is hard to know if you getting bubbles or if the unit is working.

You can tell its working if the bubbles are coming up the neck. I used a smaller version for quite a while. It wasn't hard to tell how well it was working, or when the venturi needed cleaning.
