How long before monti nudis starve?

I have one monti cap i added a week ago, if it dies to a nudi infestation how long should i wait before adding another? i figure the nudis will starve if there are no montis to eat? are they a threat to my other LPS corals?

I literally put my first monti cap in my tank and now im finding little white nudis. ive pulled about 6 out. the frag is only about 2" in diameter so checking it is pretty easy.

thankfully i only have one sps, i was testing my tank out with a cheap frag to see if i could keep an sps alive...
