How long do people suggest waiting before adding montipora to a tank?

It is generally more forgiving? All of my parameters have been absolutely stable over the past 10 weeks (there was some fluctuateion before then). They are as follows:

Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate: 0
Temp: 80.25
salinity 1.026
Calcium: 435
Alkalinity: 4.5 meq/l
Ph: 8.25
Magnesium: 1375

I was going to add a cap, is that a bad idea?

SHould be fine. Pin it between two rocks so it's a shelf. You should be golden.
