How long can sps without light

My fixture just broke , it don't turn on the light. I need to bring it to the shop tomorrow and see if they can fix it ( lucky still have warranty ) . I am not sure how long it will take. I have a stylophora , birdnest , starbust montipora in the tank.

I have another fixture at home , but it is low watt . 39 watt and just 1 watt of each led. Shall I use that these couple of days or just without light.

When I moved my tank to a different state, I had the unfortunate circumstance that the SPS in my tank went without a light source (besides ambient living room light) for about two weeks. If you do have a light hanging around, you might as well mount it over the tank. But if not, the corals will be fine for quite a while. They'll be super pale and lose all their color though if they go too long without a light source.

Go to lowes and get a 150w light and fixture. I even had growth with this.

I have a 150 watt fixture, but it's broken now and need to repair.

+1 on the home depot run. Get some type of light running asap.

The lfs lend me a light fixture , is the same 1 what I have. So the problem was solved
