How long did it take your RBTA to get use to your tank?

I bought a big RBTA from my LFS 3 weeks ago. In the LFS's tank, it was out stretch with long tentacles. I think it was under either PC or VHO.

Now in my tank, it never stretch out. At night when the lights are out, it expands fairly big but the minute the lights turn on, it shrinks and retracts its tentacles into small bulbs. I have just one 175w MH in a 55 gallon and RBTA is about 10 inches from light source.

RBTA accepts food and seems healthy. I feed it twice a week.
Is my RBTA still trying to get use to my lighting?

Many Thanks,

Beng

I just got a BTA yesterday and I noticed that when the lights are on they have big bulbs in their tentacles and then when the lights are off they stretch out. I also read that they stretch out when they are hungry.

thats normal for night time... ive had my bta for over a month now, and it still moves about sometimes.. (only at night)

but the craziest ever was lastnight. i had on a moonlight and i was watching everything after dark..

My anemone swam. it was the weirdest thing. It literally hopped off a rock to the floor, the twisted itself in the middle, and started free floating in the currents

I was so worried i woke up and checked on it like 4 times in the middle of the night
