how long does fighting between 2 clowns usually last?

i have a b/w occelaris clown,and a regualr orange one

they have been fighting for a couple days now and im getting worried that thy are both females

how long does it usually last

1. Did you get them both at the same time?
2. Is one a little bigger than the other?

If they are the same size, the bigger will win. sometimes if a hard row to hoe for the smaller of the two but the larger (if my info is correct) should be the female. Its hard to watch i know but thats nature, just don't let it get outta hand.

I (had) a friend who wanted to put a lot of tangs in his 37g. to say the least it was war. the only survivor was a yellow tang that i now own, its dorsal fin is shot, the poor guy looks hidious. but its one of the sweetest fish in the tank. does'nt bother anything. and is actually chums with my maroon.
