How long does Interceptor last?

I recently discovered that I have a red bug infestation, and plan to do the 3X interceptor whole tank treatment. I am a frag-o-holic and I have to admit that I don't think I will ever be able to resist nabbing the next cool looking frag at my LFS's. I was wondering if I save some of the tank water when I do a water change after my treatment, can I use that to acclimate and then let the new frags sit in it for 6 hours to rid them of any red bugs? If so, how long will that Interceptor'ed tank water still kill red bugs?

Yeah, anything over a few days would probably not work. I'll just do a search to see what others are using to dip their new corals to prevent re-infestation with red bugs. I imagine there are quite a few options.

when I do interceptor I want to make sure I get the job done, so I use ahlf a pill on my 120. And I let it circulate about 24 hours. If anything the corals are likeing the flavor because they sure do look happy after I nuke. I guess the only reason to worry is if you have any crabs and need to throw them back in, but I dont like to go by the 6 hour rule, I only keep snails. As far as useing interceptor as a dip I would just keep some extra pills around and mix up some in a bucket with a little maxijet and yes I would probably only do this for 6 hours as the coral may be a little stressed, none of this is stuff I studied or fact its just the way I treat my tank. good luck
