How long does it take a trigger to get comfortable

I just got a goldenheart trigger from NY aquatics and wedged himself into a rock in my qt tank. How long do you think it will take for him to come out? This is my first trigger

A little while how Big is the qt It can take triggers awhile to getbused to their surroundings I had a Niger and I put him my dt and Dickie see him for 2 weeks though he had died and one day I went to pick up a piecd of coral and threrenhe was

55 gallon qt. The trigger is about 6" and very thick.

Depends on the trigger. My Black was out swimming in ten minutes, but my Blue Throat took a few days before it was comfortable; he is still pretty skittish months later.

leave the lights off for a couple days and keep feeding...he should be fine...esp once he associates you with food...

yeah keep lights off , they are all different some are skittish some come straight to you just be patient

My goldheart was one of my most timid fish at first. He also came in a bag of water that was only 62 degrees and was basically catatonic when I opened the bag. After slowly warming him and acclimating, he went into the pipe in my QT and hid for a good 3-4 days before starting to eat mysis.

He came out today but runs to hide whenever I'm anywhere near the tank. I did see him eat mysis so I think it's good. I've never seen one in person and boy they are an amazing looking fish. IMO the design makes them look very intimidating.
