I have been getting RO/DI water from a friend and keeping them throughout the week in buckets and was wondering if they are fine like that, or if the water goes "bad" in some way.
How long does RO/DI water last in buckets?

right on thats what i needed to know. i have them well sealed in buckets so they should be fine throughout the week. i will keep doing that until i can get an ro/di unit myself.

Every so often, clean the containers that you store the water in, We use the 5 gal jugs you get for your own drinking water (if you buy bottled water)... Basically just disinfect them with a tablespoon or so of bleach in warm water, shake to get the solution all over the inside of the bottle, let sit for a bit to disinfect, rinse well and if you want after the rinse out, fill it up and add a bit of chlorine neutralizer to the bottle, let it sit overnight, rinse again in the am and you should be good to go for awhile...it may seem like overkill just passing on $.02 worth of knowledge
