How long for acans to digest?

How long does it take for an acan to digest food? I want to try and feed my acans as much as possible to maximize growth but only feed every other day. I figured hey if its hungry it will eat the food so I fed it two days in a row and it did accept the food but it looked like it still had some food from yesterday. Anyone else feed very often?

I've had some corals regurgitate food when fed every day so I never feed more than every other day. There may be exceptions like Tubastraea which seems to never get enough food (maybe because it's nonphotosynthetic), or corals that are fed very small planktonic food. But with the larger foods most people tend to use, I think every other day feeding is the most these corals will benefit from.
