How long for copper to work?

I have had my yellow wrasse in qt for 2 weeks now with Coppersafe in a 10g qt. My readings, according to AP copper test is 0.5. wrasse looks worse twitching and ich all over tail. he's looking okay and eating other than that. how long does it take to work?

Any pictures? Visible signs of Ich should be gone within a couple of days. They should be ich free in 14 days at that level.

He's got the grains of salt all over his tail and scratching twitching all over the place sorry i don't have a picture. should i up the dosage a bit. I don't have a refractometer so i can't do hypo.
