How long for Monti Eating Nudis to Die in DT?

I have had all of my montis removed for nearly 5 weeks. A friend told me the tank needs to sit without montis for 90 days to ensure nothing survives.

I cannot find anything on RC (fail as searching?) that gives a definitive answer to how long the tank needs to sit...

Is 3 months with no montis in the DT accurate?

not sure but those things are nasty strong and don't like to leave a tank. I'd wait months imo.

you could get a small piece of cheap monti and put it in. if they swarm on it because they are starving take it out and wait longer.
