How long for my wrasse to tranny up?

Just curious, what is the average time taken for a wrasse to turn from female to male? I have 2 female flames and am hoping that only one begins to turn. But I don't know how soon to start looking for the change and what to look for......

First off, best title ever. Second, it's different for each species, anywhere from a few weeks to possibly a couple years. There's a female flame wrasse at the LFS that was with another female for a month and has now been alone for a couple months and shows no hint of changing.

I mostly wanted to second the "best title ever" comment. While I've been trolling the forums for a while, I'm new here but had to post.

I have read that some may only take a couple weeks (heard this with flame wrasses), while others can take a few months or years. There are environmental factors that will affect this, or maybe prevent a female from turning male.

When my male flame died, the female turned male in just a few weeks. My anampses took 2 whole years to change.
