how long till coopersafe clears up ich on tang ?

Been treating with coopersafe for threedays tang still shows heavy ich infection but continues to eat well and act normal . When should I expect to see him clean up ? thanks

Improvements are usually noticeable after day 6. Are you using a copper test kit? It is really necessary for effective treatment because the recommended dosage is not sufficient to bring the copper level to 1.5-2 ppm. I usually have to double the dose to bring the copper level where it needs to be.

The ich drops off every 3 days. 30days for the treatment but in about a week you should notice improvements like coralsaddiction mentioned

I pretty much just run a sponge when I qt my fish and only run carbon or poly filter to remove medication.

Usually depends on the fish but in your case I would do 2 ppm.
