how long to accept her mate

I just add a new true clown to my tank, but my single female keep chasing the new clown away from the anemone.

I choose the smallest clown i can find which is just 1/3 of the female size to match them together.

How long will it take for the female to accept the new clown into the anemone?

the big female just stand guard inside the anemone, while the male hover outside of it..

What should i do now?

Is she hostile towards him when he stays out of the anemone? If not, I think she just needs time.

i think she is! she attack him out of the sudden in lighting speed, my eye only can catch her flying in and out of the anemone..

Is there anything i can do for the poor guy ?
