How long to dip acros?

After getting acros shipped to me over night, I don't want to dip them for too long since they will be stressed from shipping, but how long is necessary to kill all the red bugs? I'm determined to not get red bugs this time around.

Go by the instructions on what you are dipping them in. I usually try to give them at least 15 min.

I accidentaly dipped acro in revive for 9 hours ........... dead ...

I"m using interceptor for red bugs.

what i do now for dips is just add the liquid to the bag the acro is already in and leave for 10-15 mins to minimise stress of changing water and moving the coral as little as possible.

i use melafix. dont think we get red bugs in aus just AEFW and nudi's on monti.

I go with 2hr interceptor bath and then 4 minutes of revive - inspect every 15 minutes to see what, if anything, has fallen off.

I use 1G of SW and a blue salifert spoonful of interceptor. Then four capfuls of revive after the interceptor.
