How long to feed

When mine split and came back out from hiding they were completely healed (only about a day). I say if they're ready they'll take it, if they're not they'll let it go to the rest of the tank.

First, you don't need to feed your anemones at all in order for them to be happy. Also, splitting is a pretty violent process for the anemone - the mouth (among other things) as just been completely split in two. Give it a few weeks to heal before attempting to give it good. Remember, do not assign human qualities such as "hunger" to this animal - thinking if you offer it food and it accepts that means it's "hungry". They respond with instinct and chemical signals, and assuming it's healthy if you offer food it'll latch on.

Second, those anemones look a bit bleached.

i would just broadcats feed stuff like oyster feats but not for atleast a week so it heals first.then in a month start to feed minced foods with vitamins.god would not give nems awsome neocysts and tentacles if they didnt need to eat.i only suggest not feeding nems if you have a very mature fuge with loads of pods.nems can go years without eating a full meal just using sunlight and zooplankton.but we cannot provide that like mothernature can we can only come close.so if you want a healthy growing nem i would say feed it atleast once a month.i feed mine twice a week and thy get food from when i feed my fish and my longest lived is well over 8 years .and i only use t5 lighting wich i lke best for coverage and color matching.gl luck .in the wild nems might not die if not fed but in a captive system i dont think you will get more then 2 years out of them.i also dont no about the happy part eather i see them move around in other systems of freinds who dont feed them.they apear to be looking for food and they have halide lighting and perfect water so i dont no wich is right but if you have tantacles you eat if not you would just be a oral disc no need for tentacles.
