how long to wait

how long is the average time from a pair of juvie occ. clowns to become adults and potentially spawn? I know it may not happen, but i just wanted to get an average time for my juvies to become adults?

under ideal conditions they have the potential in as little as a year.

I have a set of percs that were 1/2" long when I got them (maybe a little smaller). I've had them for 2 years, they're paired up but have yet to spawn.

I also have a set of tomato clowns (in a different tank) that started spawning 2 weeks after they were together. They've been together for 3 years now.
