How many Bangaii Cardinals can I add?

I was interested in adding some Bangaii Cardinals to my 180gallon. I noticed on marinedepotlive.com it says that these fish are best kept in pairs. Is this true? I was thinking of keeping maybe 3 or 4. Any input is appreciated.

From what I understand, pair is the most you'll get long-term. Adding more will only result in two forming a pair and killing the rest.

That´s true. It´s better to have only 1 or a stablished pair.

1 ideally, 2 may work, 3 rarely works

But if you do get a pair, they will breed frequently. More than a pair will not work.
