How many fish would you have?

I have a 34 gallon solana tank with an 8 gallon refugium...How many fish do you think I could have safely,
I have a scooter blenny, royal gramma, and an engineer goby,
I would like to add a couple of green chromis and a sixline. Is that too much
I would add them over a period of time of course

I think you should be fine with what you have selected.

I would pass on the sixline if it were me though. They can get mean over time and possibly harass your other fish.

I think you could get away with 3 small fish. I would choose different ones than you are selecting, however. Perhaps a pair of flasher wrasses for activity and color. I would NOT get a sixline as it can be very mean and kill some of your other fish as well as compete for food with you scooter blenny. A yellow or blue assessor might be nice.

I think the six line is a chance you have to take if you want it because I have a bicolor angel and a six line and niether of them do what everybody said they would do

flasher wrasses are, as far as I know, 100% reef safe, though most of them will eat pods, try keeping them well fed to avoid them eating too many.

Am I incorrect that engineer gobies get 6" or so? For some reason, I had the idea in my head that they got big.

According to liveaquaria they get to 12" but you probably will never see it in the aquarium that big especially in a 34g.
