How many mouths?!

I have a blue ricordia fl I got about 2 months back. It had two mouths. I was not surprised to see a third, thinking it was getting ready to split. Now I see another mouth coming in and I see no sign of this shroom splitting any time soon. Four mouths, s this normal?

i have 6 on one of my rics . . . it doesn't look to be splitting anytime soon.
