I dont have room for the wavebox without some pain in the #$%^ mods.....so,
in a 84X24X30 265g tank, based on your experience, what set up would you recommend. I have a cl system, but it is not giving me the flow i need. This would be in addition to. thanks.

....the tank is set up as a penensula. all the rock work is basically down the middle. overflow is at one end w/ 2x1.5" outlets. the cl syst. consist of 4 x 1" outlets on each side of the tank...8 in all. the original set up was for 4 to run in one direction and alternate with 4 in the opposite direction...it works but is not enough...so i run them all at once. the pumps are pushing about 2400gph after head so that s only about 600gph per outlet, + - .
Ive always had great success with sps and was making enough selling frags etc to supplement the cost of the tank....but in this new tank....im losing sps due to flow...your advice is greatly apprciated.

Since rock is down the middle and if the rock work basically cuts the tank in half I might end up with 4x6105s for a sps dominant tank. Though you may want to start with two 6105s and could put them on opposite ends on opposite sides if that makes sense. Thus each would be blowing down the legth of the tank on opposite sides. The flow wont be strong on the far end from each pump when they run but between the suction of the opposite pump and the CL it might do the trick

If you were looking for non controllable I would go with 2 x 6085 or the same as the 6105s using 6065s... start with two and add if needed. But I admit I like the controllable

Not very effectly. If you could I think you would need 4x6105 but I dont know for certain. The box basically maginfies the ablity of the pump to produces the wave using displacement.
