how many tiger tail cucumbers can i keep?

i have a 56 gallon tank and I have one tiger tail in there right now about 3-4 inches long. i wanted to buy another one but not sure if its a good idea or not. on liveaquaria.com it said to keep one cucumber per 20 US gallons. so is it ok to buy another one or no?

go for it, i have a pink and black cucumber in my 20 and he seems insufficient, i'm setting up a 90 which he'll be moved to and i plan on adding a tiger tail and some smaller filter feeding cucumbers if i can find some.

Nope, keep in mind this cucumber is 6 feet long as a grown up.

i would recomend only keeping 1 in a tank that small. if you still need more to clean your sand there are many other options out there. your current cucumber will grow. they do get large when fully grown and you dont want them competeing for food.
