How many wrasses

How many wrasses can I put in my tank? I have a 400 gal. mixed reef. Don't care about a cuc either. Currently, I have a 5" three spot, a 4" red coris, and a 3" melanarus. I'm thinking about adding a 4" lunar.

I think you can add several in a 400. I have 4 in a 65, although mine stay smaller than the ones you have. My main concern for you would be aggression add you have some feisty ones. Try adding them at the same time. Or at least add the next few in a bundle to spread abuse around.

I'd skip the lunar in a reef, they'll overturn rocks and make a mess, not to mention they get big. If you go with some more peaceful wrasses you can fit quite a few.

Skip any/all Thalassoma wrasses for that matter, especially if it's a reef.

Choose wisely, and you could easy have 30 wrasses in there if you wished.
