how much and how often should you feed an extra large aneome 8 inch base 16'' aruond

i've heard several different opinions and was wondering if anyone could tellme how often they feed their large anenome
-and how much i was told to feed it pieces of silver sides squid krill just about anything, but i was wondering whats the best for the health of the big guy thanks for any help ....bill

What type of anemone do you have? I feed my RBTA Rod's food on a daily basis.

Make sure that the pieces of krill and silversides aren't too big for the anemone (the smaller the better) and don't overfeed it. I've killed anemones by overfeeding before.

It actually takes a lot of energy for an anemone to digest food.

I feed the tank (Rods food)what the anemone gets is what he gets

Anemones feed on zooplankton daily. I would feed it small foods everyday.

I would feed it once a week. If your lighting is strong the zooanthelle in the anenome feeds it. If you have clownfish they might feed it when you feed the tank check it out. I know some people who feed it once a month with proper lighting and had theirs for years. Feeding it to much will stress it out.
