How much current for Maxima?

I have a 3" maxima on order and would like advise on how much flow these clams can tolerate. It's going in an established primarily SPS tank with a lot of flow. I plan to put it on the bottom so the flow would be secondary but strong most of the day (deflection off the opposite side). Is this going to present any problems IYO.

Also looking for advise on feeding. I currently feed DT's about once a week and dried phyto a couple of times a week. Is this going to be ok for the clam or do I need to revise.

Hmm 39 hits and no response. I'll let you all know the answer to my questions after I experiment a little with the new maxima.

Enough flow to "ruffle" the mantle once in a while, but not too much that the clam doesn't want to open, or has it's mantle strongly blown up/down because of it.

Thanks, I'll be watching the clam in the next few days for distress. The flow in my tank is created by 2 Tunze streams and 2 sea-swirls. SPS and fish seem to love the flow but I have little experience with clams.
