It depends on how your LFS prices. I know some
LFS' really like to jack up the price and others can be really good about it. I would say anywhere between 40-150 bucks depending on size, and coloration.
oh jeeze... I got it for free with a maroon clown but I gave the guy 20 bucks... He has the one that split from this one and I got the original which hasn;t moved from that rock in 2 1/2 years and has been with hte clown the whole time
That one in the picture is mine and it IS THAT color...
Althought the tips are orange, the rest is not an exceptional color. My guess is that a LFS might sell it for $40. A hobbiest to hobbiest sale would be more like $20.
This anemone was $150 at an LFS at about 9" in diameter. I thought it was a pretty good deal. If it ever splits, I think the right person might pay as much as $250 for it, but I would never gouge anyone like that.
Wow... they must be very few in NCali because they had a 13-14" one for 500 bucks (The one you had a pic of that is)
I can go with 20-40 bucks if it ever splits as I got the clown with it for 20
I think you would be able to get at least $50 for it. While yes the rest of the anemone isn't quite an exceptional color to me it looks like a BTA disgusing itself as a sebae shape with orange tips...
It's just a very unique different and seemingly healthy looking specimen. You really never know what something is worth until you find a buyer for it but for now looks like if you want it to split it'll be getting a lot of extra food
