how much flow in your 29's

I have a 29 Gal tank with 1 SEIO 820 power head. It gives great flow but I still have tons of dead spots. I was thinking of also adding a little maxijet 400 on the oppisite end of my SEIO and aimed behind my rock.

What do people have for flow in there 29's or 30's

Thanks

I've got two Seo 620s in opposite corners, and have pretty good flow, but I can't wait till the tunze nano streams are out. Two 6055s here I come! ;)

i have 1 maxjet 1200 under my pile of lr and another in the opposite corner works well and keeps the dead spots to a minimum

yeah I think I will pick up another small power head this weekend. probably just a little maxi 400. I want somethng that does not take up any visual space.

A Mag 5 return from the sump, a Maxijet 1200 on one side of the tank, a Maxijet 900 on the other side, and a smaller powerhead behind the rock.

Here's a pic so you can see how I have them set up:

i had a mj600-mod, and a seio 820, that was a nice flow for my tank, but was all sps

I have a Mag 7 Return with (2) MJ1200's Hopefully soon I'll convert one of them to the MJ1200 Stream mod to push about 2000 gph. That'll leave me with no more than 2700 gph in my 29g tank. Pushing close to a 100x turnover rate.

nice looking tank by the way. i have two powerheads, one pointed behind the lr and the other crossing in front and opposite. with the return they all produce a nice circulation in the tank and make sure the eats get well distributed.

i got a rio 1700 for return. 2xaquac 30's and one aquaclear 50 i think.. its all about 1000gph(after return head loss). on my 29g.. i keep sps and lps ... all is gwrowing like a champ

I have 2 MJ900's with Hydor FLO rotating water deflectors and an AquaClear 70 that pushes out 300gph. I never really gave much thought to putting a powerhead behind my live rocks...makes sense though I guess.

i have MaxiJet1200 mod on my 30 gallons... estimated flow is around 1300-1500gph... my tank is not SPS dominated although i have 4 pieces of SPS...
