I have had this tank forever and have never had a sump, we are in the process of moving the tank from my parents house to my house and I would like to have a sump lol , I have a old 55 gallon aquarium i was planning on using after we get it set up ect at my house.
I had two overflow boxes with two holes in each overflow but back when i decided I wasnt going to use them I decided to have a piece of glass cut so I could seal 2 of the holes in one of the overflow boxes, i wish I could get this piece of glass off now but I doubt I can , mainly cause when i put the glass over the holes i sealed it REALLY WELL with silicone lol
I have a mag 25 but i fear that the will be too much flow for 240 gallon aquarium with just one overflow, I had thought about using both of the holes in the overflow box for drains, but I still think it would be too much flow for no wider than my overflow box is. my overflow is connected to the side wall and the back wall of the aquarium and is about 10 inches by 11.5 inches
