How much flow is too much for a BTA?

What do you guys think, How much can a BTA take?

I've kept a bta for a few years now but in my 90g rebuild I went BB and increased the flow quit a bit.

90g tank, two Tunze 6100's and close to 1,000 return on an Ocean Motions Squirt 2 way. The flow is pretty random and I figure with the Tunzes on pulse and not 100% on all the time, I'm around 70x turnover.

I have three BTAs in my 180g bare-bottom tank. The flow is driven by three 6100 Tunze Streams and a 1000 gph sump return. The Streams are set up in sequential mode, so the peak flow is over 10,000 gph.

After a little bit of wandering, all three of the BTAs chose to move to locations where they can expand into the full force of the Tunze Stream flow and the full brilliance of three 250-watt PFO Mini Pendants during the day. They contract into caves at night. In the location where one of the anemones has parked, the flow is so strong my Tomato Clown pair gets tossed about if they go up there.

I think as long as the BTAs can withdraw into sheltered spots at night, they seem to be quite happy in brilliant light and powerful flow.
