How much Flow?

How much flow does a mantis need? I have an N. wennerae in a 10. At the moment it only has about 90gph provided by a HOB filter that holds carbon.

I replaced all of my power heads in my main tank I was thinking of putting one of the smaller ones in with the mantis. This would give the tank about 200gph more flow.


Is this Good/Bad/No difference?

depends on the qty of LR you have. the average TO is 10X's per gallon. hope this helps

I only have about 10# in with him. A 5# rock that he lives in and then 5# more of various sizes spread out to give the food a fighting chance.


I just wanted to make sure that 29x TO would bother him.
