How much is too much?

I saw a great deal on Marine Depot's site for a retrofit that has two metal halides at 175 watt each, and either two T-5's or power compacts, and I like PC's, which are 96 watts each. Would this be blinding to most corals in a 90 gal that's 24 inches tall? It equals 542 watts, which is 6 watts a gallon. Would the T-5's lower the actual light output a little or no? It's gonna be almost exclusively SPS corals and I know they need light, just don't wanna bleach them or super heat the water.

I personally would suggest more light if your tank is a 90g, 24' deep, and you want to keep SPS. I'd go with 2 250w SE or 2 250w DE.
