i have a 28g nano with power compact lighting. its the 104 watt quad light from jbj. its half actinic half i think 10000k, but can not do just actinic or just 10k, its all one quad light. also have moon lights. Right now i have it schedued like this:
3 hours in morn the moonlights come on, then the main lighting for 7 hours, then moonlights again for the next 6. then 8 hours of darkness. i want enough lighting to keep coral healthy while extending the life of the light, and keeping algae at bay.
also during darkness in tank, the back panel where i have chaeto has an led system (nano glo) turned on.
so whats the min length of main lights on for these corals?
i have:
frogspawn, different zoas, palys, toadstool, candy cane, mushrooms, fuzzy musgrooms, ricordia, aussie brain, aussie acans, aussie duncans, open brain, pineapple, clove polyps, and 1 i cant remember what its called, help me out lol, its tiny little purple flowers all close together that stay flat to, and spread on rock.
is 7hrs enuff?
thanks
