Hey every body I have a 55 and have only used a set of 48" T-5s and a set of 24" T-5s every thuing has just kinda held its on (no growth ) today I just added another set of 48" T-5s. Over kill or what ?
i wouldnt think so. ive got 840 watts over my 75 mixed reef (400 mh/480 vho) and everything seems to grow nicely. my homemade fixture is about 16 inches over the tank though, mainly so i can do maintenance on the tank.
