How much light?

Here's the deal. I am sick of my 20 gal. right now. It's takin' over by razor caulerpa. My plan is to setup somethin' like a 12 or 24 gal. nano cube. Maybe a 14 bio cube.

The only fish in my 20 is a pair of clowns that has been in the tank since 2005. The only coral is a large hairy mushroom colony they host. To help fund my new tank, I'm thinkin' about selling my 24" Finnex 4x24w T5HO light. How much light would be needed for the hair mushrooms? Would it be possible to go back to my stock flouresant strip light and run a 15w 50/50 bulb?

The 96w is probably a bit much for a tank with only mushrooms right? I'm hoping the 15w flouresant tube will be enough until I get my new setup.

Any thoughts?

Have you tried removing the rocks and scrubbing off the calupera with a denture brush? Rinse it thoroughly in tank water and there should be no dieoff. I've done that before and eradicated the macroalgae. Good luck.
