TheApprentice New member May 20, 2008 #2 umm I don't know about TOO much but the more rock you have the less water will actually be in the tank. Usually a pound per gallon seems to work. try 24 pounds and that shouldn't take up too much but will also be enough to use it for biological filtration. Good luck!
