How much matrix?

Wondering how many liters of matrix you guys were using? I know its been said that companies vastly underrate how much you need of this stuff to see a significant reduction in nitrates. Right now I have 1L of matrix in my sump with a total volume of 50 gallons. Thinking of buying another 4 liters but I'm not sure this is overkill. I have undetectable nitrate and .02 phosphate without carbon dosing but will be adding more fish soon.

I have 10L in a 350L setup lol don't know what my nutrient levels are but from the looks of the tank they're pretty low lol

Tough question.. I have about 12 liters of matrix, 6 liters of siporax and another 5 liters of life biofil and it never put a dent in my nitrates..350 gallon system.. lots of fish..
I'd say get the extra matrix, it can't hurt. You can't really have too much..

I have three litres in a 70g system. I carbon dose a small amount and nitrate stays at trace levels.
