How much phosphates/silicates/chlorine am I letting in my tank?

I do my washing the exact same way (almost), only diff is i do all final rinsing with RO water that way the RO isnt wasted down the drains and no concerns of residues.

Thanks for your replies. I'll try to rinse in ro/di whenever possible but I won't lose sleep over it.

Yea, i only rinse with the RO because my city water is just awful. the lime content is off the chart, yours may be better hopefully. Rinsing with RO stops water spotting like you get on a car when not using soft water. The chlorine evaps away.
