How much sand

I have a 180. If I want a 1inch sand bed how much sand do I need. I will be using 2mm-4mm aragonite sand. Tank is 72*24*24

I did the no sand and I don't like it.

Just get yourself a ruler and tape it to the inside of the tank. Dump sand into it and level off till you reach the 1" mark on the ruler. Just kidding lol... Use one of the calculators on some of the online sites.

I went minimum sand....start low...add as you like...try 60 to 80 lbs...then add as you like

I put 450 lbs of oolite sand in my 220g and it was enough for 4-6" sandbed so I would think 150lbs would be plenty

I am starting a zeovit tank. Trying follow it by the book. Just don't want to buy to much or to little.
