How much to feed Dwarf Angel?

So I got my first fish in my 55g last week, a half black dwarf angel. Eating fine the mysis and brine that I put in there, same as what the LFS was feeding. But just wondering how much do I need to feed him? Are they like clowns and just stuff themselves and could possibly eat too much? Or should I keep slowly putting in some more until it seems uninterested. I've been feeding multiple times per day. I don't want to put too much in at once since it is the only fish in there right now, but it seems to be eating up everything pretty nicely. Thanks for your help.

Edit: forget to mention it seems to be picking at the rocks sometimes, sign it needs more food?

Dwarf angels, and most fish, will constantly pick at the rocks even after a recent heavy feeding. It's just what they do. Most saltwater fish we keep in our reef tanks are pretty constant grazers, they are always on the lookout for the next meal.

They wont, ime, eat themselves to death, so you should be fine with increasing the amount you're feeding until it loses interest in food.

I try to feed my tank(s) at least 3 times a day, sometimes more. Basically whatever my filtration can keep up with. I'd rather not feed quite as much and have good water quality than I would feed a lot and have sick/stressed fish due to poor water quality.

I feed mine twice a day (( 3 on weekends )), I either use a cube of LifeLine's herbivore mix, or a quarter sized piece of Rod's food for the tanks that have dwarf angels -- 3 angels per tank. Plus, I will throw in some spectrum pellets during the evening. Along with the food, they pick at the mature live rock all day long.

I feed my flame angels twice a day(HIKARI PELLETS), I will also feed them mysis or shrimp every two days. Some dwarf angels that eat too much will develope digestive issues. I also put montipora, zoanthids, and euphyllias to let them munch on.

I have a Pacific angel that eats pretty much anything. I usually feed PE, spectrum, flake and as of late have also tried the IO gel food, everyone in there seems to enjoy that.
