How much turnover through sump?

Hi All! I'm getting ready to buy a main return pump for my 210 Mixed Reef & I'm getting two different opinions on the turnover I should run through my sump. I have two Tunze 6205s in the tank so I think I'm covered for circulation but I've always been of the mind that I need 10x tank volume through the sump? Recently I've been told by more than one trusted source that since I have enough circulation inside the tank I can run 2-3x through the sump & that'll be fine? Please share your opinions/facts with me so I can make a better choice.
Thanks,
Jeff

Thanks for the link! Anybody else have an opinion/facts for me? Also, I have no idea how much my skimmer can process? It's a Trigger Systems Bersa rated for up to a 300 gal I believe. I also plan on having a manifolf run 2x BRS reactors & my Korallin Ca reactor. It will be running through my chiller and through 2x Sea swirls. Approx 10-12 ft head pressure..

i am a believer that its best to have close to the same processing of water through ur sump as ur skimmer processes.

thats true bammbamm but the other thought is the slower the flow through the sump the longer the nasties stay in the tank before they reach the skimmer

any algae or dsb would help to minimize that issue, even vacuming the bottom of the sump, imo. correct me if im wrong but a skimmer is most effiecent at removing dissolved solids?
