How much water can my overflows handle?

I'm getting a 180g wide with 2 mega over flows on it and wasn't sure what size pump to go with as I didn't know how much flow these overflows can handle?

the megaflows are supposed to be able to handle 600gph each, so 1200gph total.

Concur. 1200gph total. I have the 125 with 2 megaflows and it handles ~800gph of return pump flow handily.

Ok so a mag 12 or 18 would be good.

I got an easy 900gal going through my modified mega overflow.

There is no need to max out the overflows. 3 - 5X display size as a general rule. 540 - 900 GPH. I'd recommend an Eheim 1262. great flow, reliable and very quiet. You dont need to plumb it with the 1.5" plumbing like the Mag12/18 either.
