How much would it cost to set up a wave system in my 180g 6x2x2?

Finally saw one in action today and its got me tempted...

Any websites to find out more info and pricing?

They offer no real info as to what all is needed....

Like do I just need the wavebox? A controller? Any Tunze powerheads and etc?

It comes with everything you need to get it going...WaveBox, controller and mounting hardware. Another item I would get for the WaveBox would be 2 sets (pairs) of magnet holders. Not absolutely necessary, but these magnet holders work perfectly with the box.

As far as information on Tunze products go...this Tunze sponsor forum is pretty much the only place you need to search. I think everything has been discussed at one time or another!

Thanks for the info. Yeah there are like 3,000 threads on the Tunze forum!!! Not like it'll be easy to search through them. Perhaps we need a FAQ or how to sticky.

Tunze has so many products I wasn't sure if I neded other controllers and Streams...

A Wavebox is not a complete solution to flow. I need to know what you keep and what other flow sources you have to give such advise. You asked for where to get pricing and info and so I answered the question I was asked.

Sorry guess I should have been more clear.

I needed to know how much everything would cost to get a wave system started. What part numbers and etc. I plan to have 24/7 circulation in the tank by way of return pump going about 2-3000GPH behind my rocks and a Tunze Stream or equivalent circulating in front of the rocks.

I'll have mainly anemones, softies and some LPS for now and bump into SPS soon.

BTW is it best to run the wavebox during the whole daylight cycle?

I called up Jimmy on Glen Rose, TX today and plan on picking up what he has in stock soon.

Streams are not really the ideal choice for those inhabitants. If an anemone wanders it would be in danger. Streams are ideal for leathers and SPS. I might suggest just the wavebox. You have a fairly strong return flow.
