how often and how big are your water changes.

i am probably at net 200g. i've been kinda bad about my water changes. 20g every once in awhile when i feel the urge. i've only been up for 3 months and have done 2 WC.

first two months i only had three 4" fish. so a light bioload then. a pretty heavy bioload now, so i might have to start picking up the pace on WC's.

On my old skimmerless system, I used to do 25-30% water changes weekly.

Now I plan on doing about 5-10% per week, or monthly do a good 25-30%.

5g every 5-6 days on my 20g nano-reef. Sometimes more if I have time. Tank is heavily stocked and heavily fed.

25g once a week on my 75g FOWLR (~90g estimated total water volume).

Once the tank has been running for 4-5 months I'll slow that down to every other week but right now I don't think the tank can handle the amount of food I'm putting in.
