How often do I dose sea chem cupramine??

The bottle only directs for two of the doses. If this process is suppose to take 6-8 weeks, then why are there no directions for the whole duration of treatment? How often am I to dose this copper other than the first two appointed by the bottle?

Dose like it says, then wait 48 hrs and dose again. You'll be real close.

Check ur copper level...dose until your at a therapeutic level. Check daily or at least every other day to make sure you don't fall below the range.

Dose as needed if your levels drop even slightly to keep it constant. 4 - 6 weeks will do it.

That's right. I use salifert..

I have an API kit and it seems to be pretty accurate. I underdosed it a little since I'm not too sure of the true volume. But it seems to be where I expected it to be, at just under the .5 color spectrum.

Like Mr. Tuskfish stated, I would pick up either a Seachem or Salifert kit for use with Cupramine. The API kit has been shown to be highly inaccurate for chelated copper treatments like Cupramine; it was designed for ionic copper treatments.

Me too. I use Cupramine at .35-.40 ppm for 4 weeks. Also, fish do well when Cupramine is brought up to that level over 4-5 days.
